Javea is a lovely beach town in the province of Alicante, Comunidad of Valencia, about 45 minutes from Alicante airport. Javea has excellent road connections, with easy access to the AP7 highway and the N332 national highway, which connects Valencia and Almeria.

Area: Javea is split into three distinct areas: Javea Puerto, Javea Pueblo (Old Town), and Playa de Arenal, and has escaped the ravages of mass tourism that have afflicted neighboring cities. The Montgo National Park is also nearby.
You can meander through small lanes in Javea's Old Town and see the Javea indoor market or the 15th-century gothic church of San Bartolome. Beaches: The major beach of Javea is Playa De Arenal, a wide-open sandy beach where you can hire pedaloes, SUP boards, and other watersports equipment throughout the summer. Cala de Barraca, Cala Granadella, and Cala Blanca are just a handful of the "Calas" found in Javea.
Climate: With over 320 days of sunshine, the World Health Organization has designated it as "environmentally ideal."
