Why are people still moving to Spain?

There are many reasons why so many people are still moving to Spain, and it's not just for the Sun, though this is of course one of the reasons.

Spain retains its status as one of the cheapest countries in the world to live in, which when combined with the quality of life, is why so many people still want to relocate and live here.

Accessibility - One of the main factors around many people's decision to live in Spain is its close proximity and easy access to Northern Europe. From anywhere in the Alicante Province you have two major Airports from which to connect to anywhere in Northern Europe, whatever the time of the year. Whether you choose Alicante or Valencia Airports, they are no more than 1 hour's drive from the towns of Denia, Javea, and Moraira.

For many people who live in the Alicante province, also have the option to drive to Northern Europe, through Spain, France, and onwards, or Irish and UK residents can catch the Ferry from Bilbao or Santander. For many people, this is a great option as they can also explore and stay in places during their trip and explore further.

Cost of Living - When we compare similar Cities in the UK and other Northern European Countries to the Alicante Province then your money goes much further, up to 35% more, these reduced costs cover your everyday groceries, restaurants, and health care. Not only is the cost relevant but the quality of the produce in Spain is very high. Spain exports over €60bn of Agri Produce annually, just visit a local market and see the colors of Spain in the food it produces.

Climate - The Alicante province has on average around 320 days of sunshine per year, with a Wwinter that starts in January, and finishes 6 to 8 weeks later, most people in Spain only use their heating systems for a short period of time and given utility costs are generally lower in Spain then this further adds to the reduction in overall costs.

It is not only the cost of a cup of coffee and a loaf of bread that makes the Alicante province such an attractive place to live but its the quality of the life you can lead and the safety which are also at the top of people's lists. Whether you are a retiree or looking to change the pace of life then the Alicante Province is an option you cannot afford to not look at.
