Benitachell is a municipality in the Comunidad of Valencia, located in Alicante Province, roughly 45 minutes from Alicante Airport. Benitachell has excellent road connections, with quick access to the AP7 highway and the N332 national highway, which connects Valencia and Almeria.
Beaches: The town of Benitachell (Poble Neu de Benitachell) is 6 kilometers from its own beach, Cala del Moraig, or the coves of Los Tiestos and El Llebeig, however, Moraira's beaches are also only 6 kilometers distant. Benitachell has escaped the ravages of mass tourism that have afflicted other towns, and it has retained all of its attractions.
Restaurants: Benitachell has a variety of restaurants, but for a wider selection, visitors should travel to Moraira or Javea, where there are even more restaurants, cafes, and bars to suit every taste and budget.
Golf Courses: The Javea Golf Club is a 1-minute drive from the center of Benitachell, or you can visit the 9-hole course at Golf Ifach in San Jaime, Moraira, or the La Sella Golf Club and Resort (https://www.clubdegolflasella.com/), which has three different courses. The "Llebeig," a 9-hole south-facing course with magnificent views of the Montgó and bordered by gorgeous pine trees. Shopping: If you're searching for something a little more, head to Ondarra's Centro Commercial, which also has a major Carrefour supermarket, as well as a Sports and Activities store, Decathlon.
Education: Benitachell has a public Junior/Infant School, although the closest Comprehensive/Secondary schools are in Teulada or Javea.
